Description: Herb Derr creates knives with an appearance that is captivating and immediately recognizable. The blade is a handsome twist pattern damascus with a vine pattern fileworked spine. The steel has been deeply etched and heat colored for high contrast. The carbon steel blade will have excellent edge holding.
The ancient walrus jaw bone handle is well complemented by the stabilized black ash burl spacer. The rounded handle fits very comfortably in the hand. A nickel silver guard and butt cap bring weight back into the handle.
Accompanied by a pouch style leather sheath inlaid with cane toad skin.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
