This chef's knife is likely to become the primary knife used in your kitchen. The sleek blade provides finger clearance while being extremely dexterous. The nicely arced blade has a perfect shape for an efficient rocking chop. Whether chopping onions, mincing garlic, or slicing meats, this knife will be a perfect choice.
Nathan hand forged the blade from 1075 carbon steel providing a durable, long lasting edge. The blade features a hand rubbed satin finish and a convex grind to facilitate food release. The spine and choil have been rounded for comfort during use.
The hidden tang handle is constructed from zebrawood (Microberlinia brazzavillensis)and is nicely sculpted for a comfortable grip. The bolster is formed from black buffalo horn that is contoured to narrow toward the front to comfortably accommodate a pinch grip. The knife is well balanced and will be a joy to hold and use.
The knife is accompanied by a matching zebrawood handmade saya to protect the blade during storage.
